The Holy Spirit Wrote the Bible

Why Catholics are Wrong

Debunking Catholicism and Catechism with the Holy Bible (2 Timothy 3:16; 4:2), and plain common sense.

*NOTE* I challenge any Catholic to try to refute the truth of the word of God (that means you OCCatholic).

Catechism #2358: "The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. They do not choose their homosexual condition; for most of them it is a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God's will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord's Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition."

'Homosexuals do not choose their homosexual condition.'

I guess pedophiles, and rapists don't choose their 'condition' either? The Bible commands Christians to hate evil (Psalm 97:10), informs us that homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Cor. 6:9-10), tells us not to bid the evildoers Godspeed, nor receive them into our house, lest we are partakers in their evil deeds (2 John 1:9-11).

Catholics are violating Jude 1:4, since they support lewdness instead of the grace of God. There is no such thing as a Christian homosexual ("if they are Christians"). 1 Corinthians 6:11 says, "and such were some of you", not "such are some of you" (see 1 Corinthians 6:9-11). Jesus told us that wide is the gate which leads unto destruction, and he tells us that only few will find life in heaven (Matthew 7:13-14).

Catholics are bound to believe and trust all that the Catholic Church teaches:

You know what? All I'm going to do is post this link. Catholics use 1 Timothy 3:15 as their defense that the R.C.C. is the one and true church, but Catholics pervert the Scriptures like you wouldn't believe. Wake up people!

Mary was a sinner who did not remain a virgin because Jesus had half-brothers:

Mary was a sinner and the Scriptures prove it (Psalm 51:5, Luke 1:30; 1:46-47; 2:21-24, Romans 3:10; 3:23; 5:12; 6:23, Hebrews 9:27, James 2:10). Jesus had brethren (Matthew 12:47, Mark 3:32, Luke 8:20, John 2:12, Acts 1:14, Galatians 1:19).

Once again, I dare any Roman Catholic to try to refute these truths.

Catholics try to work their way to heaven:

No Catholic goes to heaven. Salvation is a free gift (Romans 5:15-16; 5:18), and we are justified by our faith (Mark 1:15, John 8:24, Acts 20:21, Romans 3:28-30; 4:1-5; 5:1; 9:30; 10:4; 11:6, Galatians 2:16; 2:21; 3:5-6; 3:24, Ephesians 2:8-9, Philippians 3:9). A real Christian will have faith, and produce good works (James 2:14-26). Demons believe that Jesus is the one and true God; they tremble in His presence (Matthew 8:28-29, James 2:19), but they have no works! Quit perverting the word of the LORD heretics!

You cannot bribe your way into heaven because our good deeds are like filthy rags unto the LORD Jehovah (Isaiah 64:6). It is only through our faith in Him, that we are saved (Romans 10:9); without Jesus Christ, we would all be damned! The law came by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour (John 1:14; 1:17, Colossians 1:6,  2 John 1:3).

Mary is not the 'Mother of God':

That's right heretics; she is not the 'Mother of God', but the mother of the Lord Jesus Christ. Get it right; two different things (read Luke 1 for details).

Catechism #2683: In the Catechism of the Catholic Church, speaking in the context of the saints it says, "We can and should ask them to intercede for us and for the whole world" (p. 645). Catholic Answers writes, "Our prayer to the saints in heaven, asking for their prayers for us, and their intermission with the Father do not undermine Christ's role as sole Mediator" (1 Timothy 2:5). (Pillar of Fire, Pillar of Truth, p. 21)

Roman Catholics are so good at twisting the truth. The sad part is that some of them are sincere! In reality though, they are speaking lies in hypocrisy (1 Timothy 4:2). When you pray to the saints, it does undermine 'Jesus Christ our Lord as the only Mediator' (1 Timothy 2:5).

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you want no other (Ephesians 1:3, Colossians 2:8-10,  2 Peter 1:3). Now I am not saying that you cannot pray for one another (1 Timothy 2:1); what I am saying is that for those that come to God through Him, He can save them, and make intercession for them (Hebrews 7:25, Romans 8:34).

Catholics are not born again Christians:

Being born again is exactly that, born again! You are born once in the flesh, and God commands you to be born again in the Spirit (John 3:3-7). No Catholic is born again because they are trying to use works and faith to get into heaven. It is only by faith alone that you are saved; you cannot justify yourself before God Almighty because everyone has fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Jesus was submerged in water when he was baptized, but what about Catholics? Listen guys, I was born and raised in a Catholic family, and I'll be the first to tell you that you'll never see this!

The Rosary is blasphemy:

Doing the rosary is blasphemy; read all about it here, and here.

Catholics preach a false gospel, and are accursed:

Catholics are heretics, accursed, reprobates, liars, and wicked (Proverbs 17:15, Romans 1:28-32,  2 Corinthians 13:5, Titus 1:16; 3:10-11, Galatians 1:8-9,  2 Timothy 3:8,  1 John 2:4).

Catechism #1129: In the Catechism of the Catholic Church on page 292, the following is written:

The Church affirms that for all believers the sacraments of the New Covenant are necessary for salvation.

There are seven sacraments in the Church: Baptism, Confirmation or Chrismation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony (CCC, p. 289, #1113; see also p. 311, #1210).

"This is the tradition of men (Matthew 15:8-9, Colossians 2:8-10), and not the doctrine of Christ (2 John 1:9). Scripture nowhere teaches that any of these sacraments are necessary for salvation. What is necessary for salvation is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (the Word, John 1:1, Revelation 19:13). As John 3:36 says, He who believeth in the Son hath everlasting life; and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him" (take a look here).

Biblical baptism saves us (1 Peter 3:21), and to clarify, Jesus is the living water (Jeremiah 17:13, John 4:10, 14; 7:38, Revelation 7:17).

To be continued...

Pro-Life is the Choice to Make People!

Ray Comfort came up with a great idea on making a video about why abortion is wrong. The Bible says that if you hate your brother, you're a murderer (1 John 3:15). Jesus said, "Thou shalt not murder" (Matthew 19:18). I am encouraging everyone to watch this movie, it's good stuff! Who knows, maybe you'll realize that abortionists are murderers.

Must-See Videos!

Here are some videos that you need to watch:

Salvation is By Faith Alone!

I was motivated to write this article based on the incessant contentions that I had with a heretic named OCCatholic, on YouTube. He believes that you are born again by faith and works, which is not biblical. The word of the LORD makes it clear that you are saved by faith alone.

Read all of these Bible verses for details:

Romans 3:28-30; 4:1-5; 5:1; 5:15-16; 5:18; 9:30; 10:4; 11:6

Galatians 2:16; 2:21; 3:5-6; 3:24

Ephesians 2:8-9

Philippians 3:9

Now, the word of God tells us how we should deal with freethinkers:

"But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes" (2 Timothy 2:23).

OCCatholic claimed to be a born again Catholic, but I honestly believe he has never been born again. If he has been, he is very ignorant of the Bible.

Whenever you encounter heretics, obey what the word of God says on how to handle them:

"But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself" (Titus 3:9-11).

The Bible indicates the character of someone who enters into contention:

"Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom" (Proverbs 13:10).

"A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes" (Proverbs 18:6).

I could have saved a lot of time, if I had read those Bible verses beforehand. I talked to him, and argued with him out of love; however, it is unprofitable and vain if the iconoclast is too lost in their delusions.

Folks, there will be times when you will encounter dissenters; that is why it is so important to know your Bible! (2 Timothy 2:15) Try to guide the nonconformists in the right direction, but if they are hostile, or unappreciative, move on!

If God Exists, Why Doesn't He Speak For Himself, Audibly?

This was posted by Ray Comfort on his blog, Atheist Central:

Posted: 29 Oct 2011 04:49 AM PDT
"He did speak audibly to Israel when He gave them the Ten Commandments, and the Bible says that Israel was so fearful at what they saw and heard, they pleaded that He no longer speak to them (see Exod. 20:18,19; Heb. 12:19).

When He spoke on the Mount of Transfiguration, He terrified the disciples (see Matt. 17:5,6). When He once spoke audibly to Jesus, the people thought that they heard thunder (see John 12:28,29). So why didn’t God just whisper on these occasions? Perhaps He did.

However, God (in His infinite wisdom) has chosen what the Bible calls “the foolishness of the mes- sage preached” to bring the gospel to humanity (see 1 Cor. 1:21). He has condescended to use lowly man to deliver the message of everlasting life to dying humanity.

When it comes to God speaking to us, it is important to make sure that we don’t exaggerate our im- portance. We are but very tiny specks on a tiny speck of a planet, moving through the massive infinitude of space. If you want a special audience with the President, he likely will not come running to speak es- pecially to you when, how, and where you want. Only a person with delusions of grandeur indeed would expect such treatment.

How much more so with the Creator of the universe? You are not going to get a special audience with God. So humble yourself, repent of your sins, and trust the Savior, then seek God through prayer and reading of His Word. Prayer is you speaking to God, and the Bible is God speaking to you. Make sure you listen carefully to what He says. Your eternity depends on it."
Hebrews 12:25 "See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven..."
----------

I posted this for my brethren in Him, for the conceited, for the self-righteous, for the scoffers, and for the wicked. This is to show why the LORD Jehovah does not talk from the sky, as he did in the Bible.

This is important to know because some skeptics say, "You believe in an imaginary friend." However, the word of the LORD makes it very clear: God exists! You have eyewitness testimony, Scripture, and archaeological evidence supporting the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

My question to you is, "Will you draw nigh unto God? Will you repent and believe in the gospel? Will you humble yourself, and put God first?"

Time is ticking.

The Bible Is Not The Word of God (According to Nonconformists), Because It Was Written By Men

Most unbelievers reject the Bible as "the word of God" because it was written by men. What they fail to realize is that the Bible was inspired through men, by the Holy Ghost (2nd Peter 1:21, 2nd Timothy 3:16). When you tell them that they say, "There is no proof. Show me evidence that God wrote it."

When you show them several prophecies that have been fulfilled in the Bible they claim, "The writers just looked at the Old Testament, and wrote that they were fulfilled in the New Testament. It is just one mass conspiracy to control people." When you tell the freethinkers that it says, "Thus saith the LORD over 2,500 times in the Bible", they just reply with, "Oh, that doesn't mean anything. They're just lying to control people."

Yet, you cannot deny the historical accuracy of the Bible, the fulfilled prophecies, the accurate genealogies that are written within, and how modern society is today. B.C. (Before Christ), and A.D. (Anno Domini which translated to English means, "the year of our Lord") are testament to the Bible being true; that Jesus Christ did suffer and die on the cross, then rose again on the third day, in fulfillment of the Scriptures.

Now dissenters argue that it is no longer called B.C. and A.D., but B.C.E. (before common era) and C.E. (common era). This is proof that Satan is taking away the word, and is trying to remove Jesus Christ, as well as the Bible, from our lives (Luke 8:12, 1st Peter 5:8).

What the infidels fail to realize is that their unbelief is evil in the sight of the LORD, and it will send them straight to hell (Revelation 21:8). What all Christians should know is that some people are just gospel-hardened, and they need to remember Matthew 7:13.

So in regard to the common objections by the nihilists, here are several videos to help "open" their eyes to the truth:

Take My Son - A Remarkable Tale

A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of art. They had everything in their collection, from Picasso to Raphael. They would often sit together and admire the great works of art.

When the Vietnam conflict broke out, the son went to war. He was very courageous and died in battle while rescuing another soldier. The father was notified and grieved deeply for his only son.

About a month later, just before Christmas, there was a knock at the door. A young man stood at the door with a large package in his hands.

He said, 'Sir, you don't know me, but I am the soldier for whom your son gave his life. He saved many lives that day, and he was carrying me to safety when a bullet struck him in the heart and he died instantly. He often talked about you, and your love for art. The young man held out this package. 'I know this isn't much. I'm not really a great artist, but I think your son would have wanted you to have this.'

The father opened the package. It was a portrait of his son, painted by the young man. He stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting. The father was so drawn to the eyes that his own eyes welled up with tears. He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the picture. 'Oh, no sir, I could never repay what your son did for me. It's a gift.'

The father hung the portrait over his mantle. Every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son before he showed them any of the other great works he had collected.

The man died a few months later. There was to be a great auction of his paintings. Many influential people gathered, excited over seeing the great paintings and having an opportunity to purchase one for their collection.

On the platform sat the painting of the son The auctioneer pounded his gavel. 'We will start the bidding with this picture of the son. Who will bid for this picture?'

There was silence.

Then a voice in the back of the room shouted, 'We want to see the famous paintings. Skip this one.'

But the auctioneer persisted. 'Will somebody bid for this painting. Who will start the bidding? $100, $200?'

Another voice angrily. 'We didn't come to see this painting. We came to see the Van Gogh's, the Rembrandt's. Get on with the real bids!'

But still the auctioneer continued. 'The son! The son! Who'll take the son?'

Finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. It was the longtime gardener of the man and his son. 'I'll give $10 for the painting.' Being a poor man, it was all he could afford.

'We have $10, who will bid $20?'

'Give it to him for $10. Let's see the masters.'

'$10 is the bid, won't someone bid $20?'

The crowd was becoming angry. They didn't want the picture of the son.

They wanted the more worthy investments for their collections.

The auctioneer pounded the gavel. 'Going once, twice, SOLD for $10!'

A man sitting on the second row shouted, 'Now let's get on with the collection!'

The auctioneer laid down his gavel. 'I'm sorry, the auction is over.'

'What about the paintings?'

'I am sorry. When I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a secret stipulation in the will. I was not allowed to reveal that stipulation until this time. Only the painting of the son would be auctioned. Whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire estate, including the paintings.'

'The man who took the son gets everything!'

God gave His son 2,000 years ago to die on the cross. Much like the auctioneer, His message today is: 'The son, the son, who'll take the son?'

Because, you see, whoever takes the Son gets everything.

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON HIM SHALL NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE! THAT'S LOVE.

Legalistic Preaching Versus Compassionate Preaching, and Why They Are Both Necessary

legalistic: excessive adherence to law or formula.
                     • Theology dependence on moral law rather than on personal religious faith.

Before I get started, I just want to say that there are times when you should preach legalistically, and other times where you should preach compassionately. You should preach legalistically when you are witnessing to someone you have not met before, or if you are open-air preaching. You should preach compassionately when you are in a church setting, or if you are telling the gospel to a family member.

The goal of preaching legalistically is to get the point across as quickly as possible through the Law of Moses, prophecy, genealogies, reproof, rebuke, correction, and exhortation. The goal of preaching compassionately is to not turn off those with whom you associate with on a regular basis, but to make them feel comfortable, and then hit them with some gospel truth later on.

Now, I have been accused by some brethren of being too legalistic with my preaching. They all tell me, "you are being to forceful; you need to be more loving with your preaching." However, that isn't necessarily true; if you read the Book of Jude, it makes it very clear that you are to save some with compassion, and others with fear (Jude 1:22-23). The Book of Jude also states that you are to contend with the faith earnestly (Jude 1:3).

We are to reprove the wicked (Ephesians 5:11), judge one another (John 7:24, Psalm 37:30, 1st Corinthians 2:15), and reprove, rebuke, correct, and exhort each another (2nd Timothy 4:2, 2nd Timothy 3:16). Also, if some brethren reprove you about the way you are preaching, tell them to read Romans 14:10-13.

Let's not forget that the evildoers are already condemned for not believing in the name of the only begotten Son of God (John 3:18). Wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leads unto destruction, and there many which go in thereat (Matthew 7:13). People, the truth is that most people go to hell when they die, not heaven. It's already written in God's word!

If you take a look at Noah, he preached for 120 years, and only his family believed him. So when another Brother or Sister in Christ tells you that you shouldn't be too legalistic with your preaching, correct them with Scripture. Point out that verse that God gave us in Jude; show them Luke 14:23, and Mark 16:15. Remind them that now is the day of salvation (2nd Corinthians 6:2), and that they better prepare to meet God (Amos 4:12).

Ladies and gentlemen, the truth is that God does not love everyone. GOD HATES THE WICKED (Psalm 5:5; 7:11; 11:5; 45:7, Hebrews 1:9)! There is none righteous (Romans 3:10), there is none that does good (Psalm 14:1). Take a look at Proverbs 17:11, and 1st Samuel 15:23. Cruel messengers are sent to those who are rebellious, stubborn, and wicked.

So whenever you learn about Scripture from someone other than God, always go back to the Bible. Never take their word for it; remember, thus saith the LORD this and that in His word. Always double/triple check what you guys are talking about with God's word; the LORD has blessed us with technology, so use it guys!

One more thing: God's word is not the NIV, NASB, NKJV, NLT, and all the modern translations, including modern KJV. It is only the 1611 KJV.

There should be no excuse for not using God's holy word. If people cannot understand it to well because of the archaic English, TEACH THEM!

Women Are To Be Keepers At Home, Modest, & Obedient to their Husbands

I've met some born-again Christians that do not follow these commandments stated above, given by the Lord. Jesus said if ye love me, keep my commandments (John 14:15). The word of the Lord says that if you say, I know him, and do not keep his commandments, you are a liar, and the truth is not in you (1st John 2:4). It is your choice to be obedient to God, or to be a slave to sin (John 8:34).

The Bible commands women to be chaste, holy, modest, silent, to not usurp authority over men, good, teachers of good things, meek, keepers at home, not false accusers, subservient to their husbands, to love their husbands and children, to not plait their hair, or wear jewelry with their apparel (1 Corinthians 14:34,  1 Peter 3:1-3; 3:5-6, Ephesians 5:21-24, Titus 2:3-5,  1 Timothy 2:9-15).

If your wife is not obeying the word of God, she is being disobedient. God said if you love me, keep my commandments. There is no other way around this folks; you MUST obey Jesus if you love Him. Men, you are responsible to make sure that your wives are obeying the Lord.

It doesn't matter whether things are expensive or not. The Bible says that if you have food and clothing, be content with that because when you entered into the world, you had nothing (1st Timothy 6:7-8).

When I say modest, I mean that women should not be wearing pants, shorts, or bathing suits. They should be wearing dresses that are not revealing, so that men will not lust after them when they are walking down the street (Matthew 5:28).

Watch these videos to have a better understanding of what I mean:

There you have it people. Rebuke your Sisters in Christ if they are not obeying the word of God.

Allah: The Great Deceiver & The Most Proud

Many people believe that Allah is the same as the God of the Bible. However, this is NOT true. The one and true Creator Yahweh cannot lie (Titus 1:2), and will never change (Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8). Jehovah resists the proud, and gives grace unto the humble (1st Peter 5:5; James 4:6).

With that said, then who is Allah? The word Allah is translated to "the god." So Allah itself has no meaning. So if he has no name, then who are Muslims praying to?

They believe that the Prophet Muhammad (who never prophesied anything) received a gospel from an angel of light (Satan perhaps? 2nd Corinthians 11:14), and that the Qur'an is the one and true holy word. Well, what about Galatians 1:8-9?

Most Muslims have no idea that they are accursed; they are wicked and ungodly, and whoever follows this abominable religion is going to hell.

It says in the Qur'an that Allah hates those who are prideful, yet Allah is the most prideful? Something is WRONG here...

Have you not read 1st Timothy 3:6-7? Don't be like Allah, or the devil; be wise: repent, and believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

The One and True Creator of heaven and earth is God Almighty, who is meek and humble.

"The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit" (Psalm 34:18).

"For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones" (Isaiah 57:15).

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30).

Guys, do not be tricked by "The Great Deceiver - Allah." Satan has had plenty of practice leading people into hell; haughtiness leads to destruction, and humility leads to honor (Proverbs 18:12).

All Idolaters Will Have Their Part in the Lake of Fire & Brimstone

Idolatry is a big problem in today's society. People worship money, the sun, the moon, statues, paintings, sports, the demon Mary, themselves, their assets, each other, and do great wickedness in the sight of the LORD.

Well, the Bible tells us what happens to idolaters:

"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." (Revelation 21:8)

It is so important that those of you who are reading this that are not saved, WAKE UP! Your sin will take you straight to hell, and now is the day of salvation (2nd Corinthians 6:2).

As for the money issue, the love of money is the root of all evil (1st Timothy 6:10). Jehovah commands us to put Him first, before all other things. We are to love him with all of our mind, heart, soul, and strength (Luke 10:27).

Now for you rich men who claim you love God:

The Bible makes it clear that the rich man will hardly inherit the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 19:23-24, Luke 6:24).

It is SO important that for all of you who are reading this that are not born-again, to humble yourselves before God. Admit that you are a wicked sinner and deserve hell. Confess with your mouth, and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, that He suffered and died for your sins; that he rose on the third day in fulfillment of the Scriptures, and that he has ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. Believe that the entirety of the word of God is true (Romans 10:9-10).

For those of you who think you can bribe God come judgment day, you'll find out that you've been mistaken; your good will never outweigh your bad. Your only hope is in Jesus Christ; it is through His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Does God Hate Anyone?

Abomination - a thing that causes disgust or hatred (New Oxford American Dictionary).

Sometimes, when saved Christians go out to preach the word of God, they encounter individuals who have created their own false god, who is okay with their sin. Now picture this: these idolaters claim that God loves them, no matter how many times they fornicate, lie, steal, blaspheme, dishonor their parents, worship other gods, covet, get drunk, etc.

What they don't realize is that the LORD is angry with the wicked everyday (Psalm 7:11)! They don't know that Jehovah hates workers of iniquity (Psalm 5:5), and violence (Psalm 11:5).

Whenever a born-again Christian goes to reprove (Ephesians 5:11), rebuke, and correct the evildoers (2nd Timothy 3:16), the wicked sinners sometimes reply with, "You have no right to judge us. Are you God?" Then, these evildoers go on to sneer, and jeer at them, and the Bible.

Born-again Christians should not be led away by their error (2nd Peter 3:17). Instead, they should be bold, and lift their voice up like a trumpet to show these sinners that they have fallen short of Yahweh's glory (Romans 3:23, Isaiah 58:1, Ephesians 6:19-20).

Now, there are dogs out there who support wickedness, such as homosexuality. There are even those who deny Jesus, and claim that He never existed, and that born-again Christians are crazy. What they don't realize is that the LORD hates those that justify the wicked, and those that condemn the just (Proverbs 17:15). These evildoers need to be reproved, and shown that they are already condemned for not believing in Jesus, the only begotten Son of God (John 3:18).

These people have no hope: some of them are so arrogant, that they believe that they aren't wicked; even after you go through the Ten Commandments with them! They don't realize that having pleasure in their ungodliness, and refusing to repent will damn them for all eternity in hell (2nd Thessalonians 2:12)! God hates liars, the haughty, murderers, etc. (Proverbs 6:16-19)

So does the LORD hate anyone? He sure does! Jehovah HATES the wicked!

What the Bible Says About Fools

Before we get started, I want to give the definition of a fool:

A fool is a person who acts unwisely or imprudently; a silly person
                  • historical a jester or clown, esp. one retained in a noble household.
                  • informal a person devoted to a particular activity : he is a running fool.
                  • archaic a person who is duped. (New Oxford American Dictionary)

This is to clear the air so that when I call fools "stupid, unwise, obnoxious, etc.", you know that it is merited. I am only judging dolts that mock God's word. If you have a problem with that, go read my article about judging people.

Now, arrogance may be the number one reason why sinners don't get saved. It is their vanity that causes them to reject the free gift of everlasting life, from Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God (John 3:18). God resists the proud, and gives grace unto the humble (James 4:6, 1st Peter 5:5).

It is their conceit that drives them to not want to live by rules, or by "a book." Those who are not saved give Jehovah no respect, and even though they know He exists within their hearts, they deny Him. They love darkness, rather than light, because of their immoral exploits (John 10:10).

Born-again Christians know that the devil has come to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). They also know that guilt and shame shall come among them, for not obeying the LORD and preaching the gospel (Mark 16:15,  1st Corinthians 9:16).

Thus, when saved Christians bear their cross and preach God's word, there are those who mock at it. The word of God makes it very clear: those who mock at sin are fools (Proverbs 14:9). People who proclaim in their hearts that there is no God are stupid (Psalm 14:1). Those who trust in their own hearts are brainless (Proverbs 28:26). Without accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have no hope (John 14:6).

The Bible says that when you begin to fear Yahweh, you gain knowledge. It is the fool, who hates wisdom and instruction (Proverbs 1:7). Fools, publicly announce their own stupidity (Proverbs 12:23).

The Bible says that if you are a friend of fools, you'll be destroyed (Proverbs 13:20). If you utter a slander, you're an imbecile (Proverbs 10:18). If you are contentious, you're foolish (Proverbs 18:6). SHAME shall be the promotion of idiots (Proverbs 3:35).

That is why it is so important to "forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding" (Proverbs 9:6).

So next time you see a person mocking the word of God, stay away from them. They are fools that will only bring more harm than good. It is possible for your manners to be corrupted, due to their evil (1st Corinthians 15:33). And don't reprove a mocker, unless he loathes you (Proverbs 9:7-8).

You Reap What You Sow

Have you ever had an experience in your life when you asked someone a simple question, and they just ignored you? Then in the future, they turn around and ask you something, and you give them the same treatment? This act becomes a constant back-and-forth struggle, and it can really affect the mindset of both people involved.

Well, the Bible has something to say about it; but before I get into that, I just want to mention something. If you are ignoring your neighbor for no reason whatsoever, you are ostracizing them; this affects a certain part of their brain, called the anterior cingulate cortex. Now for those of you who don't know what ostracism means, it is the act of excluding someone from a society or group (the New Oxford American Dictionary). By doing this, you are actually inflicting a form of pain on the one who is being ostracized.

Well, the Bible says:

"...Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." (Matthew 22:39)

"Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him." (Proverbs 26:27)

"Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him." (Isaiah 3:11)

"Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same." (Job 4:8)

"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." (Matthew 7:12)

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." (Galatians 6:7)

Now, based on this, it seems that you should never ignore someone. Well, I am not implying that. I am just trying to let people know that if someone has not done anything wrong to you, you should not ignore them.

That means if someone acts you a silly question, ANSWER IT. Ladies, if it seems like a guy is hitting on you, TALK TO HIM. If a bum walks up to you and asks you for money, RESPOND to him/her. You never know; it may not be a silly question, he may not actually be hitting on you, and maybe the bum really does need something to eat. Remember, each and every one of us has value in the eyes of the LORD. You do not know if that person will get saved later in his/her life; that is why it is so important to treat EVERYONE with respect.

"Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king." (1st Peter 2:17)

"Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows." (Matthew 10:31)

Now, if you are witnessing to someone, and they are acting foolish, then you are to walk away from them.

"Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding." (Proverbs 9:6)

Remember, as Christians we are always expected to do the right thing, and should always be walking in the Spirit.

"For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." (Galatians 6:8-9)

Always show respect to people, even if you are in a hurry to get somewhere.

Catholicism DESTROYED!

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." (Matthew 7:15)

* I was inspired to write this article by a Catholic named OCCatholic, thanks to a heated discussion that took place. This was due to him being so quick to cause discord between us. He is the most contentious, hardcore Catholic I have ever talked to. He is so adamant and duped, that I want to reprove him, AND ANYONE ELSE who justifies the wickedness of the Catholic religion (Ephesians 5:11). *

First and foremost, most Catholics ARE NOT born again Christians. Most Catholics are deceived people who are on their way to HELL because they speak BLASPHEMIES and do that which is WICKED in the sight of God.

Second, although Mary had the Holy Ghost within her, and gave birth to Jesus, she was a SINNER (Psalm 51:5, Luke 1:30; 46-47, Romans 3:10; 3:23; 5:12; 6:23, Hebrews 9:27, James 2:10)! Now just because she gave birth to earthly Jesus, does not mean that He was created. Jesus is God, and is eternal.

Third, YOU ARE SINNING IF:

1.) you are worshiping Mary
2.) you are calling priests "Father"
3.) you refer to the Pope as "Holy Father"
4.) you bow and/or pray to paintings and/or statues
5.) you are confessing your sins to a priest, in order to be forgiven

Fourth, YOU HAVE BEEN DECEIVED IF YOU BELIEVE THAT:

1.) the church was founded on Peter
2.) you are saved by good works only
3.) purification comes from purgatory, and not from Jesus Christ

Fifth, there are more examples of things wrong with the Catholic religion. I am not going to list them all. That is why I am going to ask you to please take a look at each of these following links, which expose the evil of the Catholic religion:

Sixth, celibacy is evil, and is a DOCTRINE OF DEMONS. I am going to show you several Bible verses to show you why.

1.) "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth." (1st Timothy 4:1-3)

2.) "Marriage is honourable in all..." (Hebrews 13:4)

3.) "...the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him." Genesis 2:18

Finally, here are some more Bible verses which destroy the evil, Catholic religion.

1.) "Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me." (Isaiah 43:10) [If Mary gave birth to God, she'd be God.]

2.) "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God..." (Exodus 20:4-5)

3.) "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ" (1st Corinthians 3:11)

4.) "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" (1st Timothy 2:5) [not Mary, not saints, not priests, not the pope]

5.) "And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are." (John 17:11)

6.) "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

7.) "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." (Romans 4:5)

Now this is a message for all the Catholics out there, living in sin: REPENT, AND BELIEVE IN THE GOSPEL EVILDOERS!

Make War! Be a Good Soldier for Jesus Christ!

"The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name." (Exodus 15:3)

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS." (Revelation 19:11-16)

"The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealously like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar: he shall prevail against his enemies." (Isaiah 42:13)

"Blessed be the LORD my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight." (Psalm 144:1)

"Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier." (2nd Timothy 2:3-4)

"Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution." (2nd Timothy 3:12)

"And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:" (John 19:17)

"And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus." (Luke 23:26)

"And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple." (Luke 14:27)

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." (Psalm 23:4)

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." (1st John 4:18)

God's Greatness is Unsearchable

"Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable." (Psalm 145:3)

"And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him." (Matthew 17:1-5)

"Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, "Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:" (Isaiah 46:9-10)

"And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth." (Revelation 19:6)

"If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me." (Psalm 139: 8-10)

"Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases." (Luke 9:1)

"He telleth the number of the stars, he calleth them all by their names." (Psalm 147:4)

"Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy." (Psalm 99:3)

"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard." (Psalm 19:1-3)

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." (Genesis 1:1)

"Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth." (Genesis 11:9)

"The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof. He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud. By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent." (Job 26: 11-13)

Read Job 38-42 for more of God's greatness.

Preaching God's Word to Everyone All Throughout the World, Winning Souls, and Why We Should Do It

Starting off with the latter, we should preach God's word, and win souls because God COMMANDS us to! God doesn't just want us to preach His word to our friends and relatives, He COMMANDS us to preach His word to everyone! Even Jesus went everywhere, preaching the gospel of the kingdom. PRAISE THE LORD!

"Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." (Luke 14:23)

"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine." (2nd Timothy 4:2)

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15)

"And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people." (Matthew 9:35)

God says that we will be downcast and in trouble if we do not obey Him, and preach His word.

"For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!" (1st Corinthians 9:16)

By hearing the word of God, people can get saved.

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? (Romans 10: 13-14)

"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17)

Now that we know that people can get saved by hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ, how can we save souls? Jesus makes it very clear in this next verse:

"And He saith unto them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." (Matthew 4:19)

By following Christ, and by living by His example, we can win souls! God tells us about the character of someone who wins souls in the following verse:

"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is WISE." (Proverbs 11:30)

Do you want to be wise? I am sure you do because I want to be wise. Go out and preach the word, that souls will be saved. BEAR YOUR CROSS!

There are rewards for your hard work:

"And they that be WISE shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever." (Revelation 22:12)

So you could be one of the celebrities talked about in heaven, if you obey God and have that zeal.

Remember, your hard work in serving the Lord is NEVER in vain.

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." (1st Corinthians 15:58)

Can a Christian Judge Other People, and is it Necessary?

If you have ever open-air preached, or witnessed to someone who has not been saved, more than likely you have heard the convicted sinner say this: "Judge not, that ye be not judged." (Matthew 7:1)

Now based off of this verse in the Bible, it would seem like none of us can judge anyone, but is that really the case? Let's take a look at a few other verses in the Holy Bible that deal with judging.

"The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment." (Psalm 37:30)

"Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." (John 7:24)

"But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him? But he have the mind of Christ." (1st Corinthians 2:15-16)

"The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace." (Isaiah 59:8)

"Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not." (Malachi 3:18)

Okay, so based off of these Bible verses, the word of God makes it clear: we are to judge one another with love and righteousness, not with hate. If we don't judge one another, then people start becoming slaves to sin (John 8:34) because we are not obeying God, and fearing Him.

So going back to Matthew 7:1, what is the meaning behind this? The meaning behind this verse becomes clear: "we are not to judge one another hypocritically, rashly, impartially, uncharitably, unmercifully, unrighteously, with a desire of ill will against our neighbor, with jealously, with a spirit of revenge" (Matthew Henry's Commentary), etc. Basically, we are only to judge, and spiritually discern others according to the Holy Bible. God's word is the ONLY truth, and we should live our lives according to how God commands us to.

Judging is VERY important: when we are absent from the body, and present with the LORD, God's elect shall even judge angels!

"Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to the law before the unjust, and not before the saints? Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?" (1st Corinthians 6:1-5)

So most of the previous Bible verses that I have showed you dealt with judgment which was written in the New Testament. If we take a look at the Old Testament, it becomes clear that even in the time of the prophets, God's children were to judge righteously.

"Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour." (Leviticus 19:15)

"And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him." (Deuteronomy 1:16)

Now before someone gets angry and points at verses in the book of Romans about condemning ourselves when we judge, it is because we are not supposed to judge outwardly, or according to the flesh. We are to judge inwardly, according to the heart, as the Lord does. We are to be fair and just with our judgments, because everyone has sinned. We are not to jump to conclusions and judge people rashly because that is when you condemn yourself. Please take CAREFUL consideration when you pass judgment upon others.
